Presentation and Facilitation Skills for Trainers
Focusing on interactive training techniques, trainers will learn how to guide participants to learning during a variety of learning methods, activities and presentations. How to ask questions, deal with answers, use participant’s knowledge to enhance learning and engage learners in discussions are included in the session. Trainers will practice skills and demonstrate learning through a video recorded session. Course length: 8 hours Number of participants: 5-8
Accelerated Learning
Accelerated learning principles can take your training classes to the next level. In this fun and interactive course you will learn to recognize the three learning styles and the multiple intelligences and to create events that support these learning essentials. You will build skills on application of whole brain learning, using music to accelerate learning and designing a variety of learning activities to enhance student progress. Course length: 8 hours Number of participants: 8 – 15
Instructional Design
This workshop focuses on developing training using a modified ISD method with a basis on the ADDIE process. It includes how to write objectives, create learning activities, design leader’s guides and participant workbooks, visual aids, debriefing methods and basic evaluation techniques. Course length: 16 hours Number of participants 10-15
Training Program Management
Designed for those currently managing training programs, or those who want to build the necessary skills, this comprehensive program will teach you basic skills to establish and operate large or small programs. You will learn to interview, develop and evaluate instructors, perform needs analysis for training development and establish cost/benefit analysis. In addition, we will discuss designing departmental training policies and effectively evaluating training courses using four levels of evaluation. Course length: 8 – 16 hours Number of participants 10 – 15
